Pavel Machar studoval architekturu na Kansas State University v USA, TU Eindhoven v Nizozemsku a ČVUT v Praze.
Pavel studied Architecture at the Kansas State University in the USA, TU Eindhoven, in The Netherlands, and graduated from the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Architecture.
Since joining Jestico + Whiles in 2004, Pavel has been responsible for a broad variety of projects across central Europe. Pavel is particularly inspired by fine art and film, and works closely with clients to unlock the maximum potential of each project opportunity.
Having been awarded the first prize for the student architecture award in Prague, Pavel has more recently successfully completed a broad selection of architectural and interior design commissions including the award winning Parkville residential project in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava, and a 65 Ha mixed-use leisure development in the Slovak mountains incorporating a 5 star hotel and spa and residential communities set within the proximity of two international quality golf courses.
Pavel was also responsible for overseeing a new benchmark residential and mixed-use community which is under construction on the outskirts of Prague. The project includes masterplanning of a 135 Ha site incorporating around 300 private and exclusively designed family villas, 350 apartments, a golf club house, swimming pool and sports centre, international school, retail centre, offices and renovation of an historically important chateau and surrounding estate. The project is set within a richly landscaped hillside environment including lush gardens and generous parks.
Pavel played a pivotal role in development of an extension to an existing nursery school in Dobrichovice, refurbishment and extension to a primary and secondary school in Cernosice, and is currently completing the construction package design for a benchmark sustainable hotel resort on the spice island of Zanzibar.
Pavel enjoys ensuring that projects are developed with exacting detail, and is particularly talented in both team management and discussion with permitting authorities.
